The mission of the HELPS Resource Center is to provide meaningful programs and information designed to meet the basic needs of individuals and families in the community.
We devote our faith, time and resources to work with people who need help, to enhance their quality of life and to further boost each person’s self-worth.
We serve the poverty level, under-privileged, elderly, veterans, disabled, homeless, transitional and the at-risk community.
Our organization has two annual goals: (1) to expand our resource directory to 400 communities and (2) to obtain funding for a mobile Resource Outreach Center.
To support and strengthen the local community we’ve developed an online resource center where anyone can find the local resources they need with just a click of a mouse.
The HELPS Community Resource Directory is FREE for anyone to use, and it’s accessible by any cell phone, tablet, or computer, 24 Hours a Day 7 Days a Week. Over 4000 people have already used the Western Idaho, Boise area Resource Directory.
Our primary goal is to open HELPS Community Resource Directories in over 400 major cities across America.
We are targeting the unemployment problem in our local community by creating a mobile outreach center; a portable “one-stop” job search office equipped with complimentary access to employment readiness programs and job searching tools
We will provide the supportive services that will encourage and educate people in areas of resume development, local job market research, job application assistance, career counseling and interview preparations.
Our staff and volunteers will visit senior centers, veteran centers, churches, soup kitchens, under freeway overpasses, on city streets, in parks, near shelters and encampments.
