Located in Nampa, Idaho and is a ministry of Vineyard Christian Fellowship Nampa. Please note that we are an emergency food bank. We exist to help those who need immediate, intermittent, assistance. We try to provide food help in the form of three days worth of food to each family once a month. Sometimes we have more, sometimes we have less, as the Lord provides.

We work hard to provide a higher standard of rehabilitation. All patient treatments are performed by highly trained, licensed physical therapists on a one-on-one basis. Your therapist will only be working with you during your visit - something that allows him or her to pay attention to your individual needs and develop a custom rehabilitation plan created specifically for you. Our goal is to promote a caring, fun environment that encourages our patients to continue their progress, injury free, long past discharge from our services. One of the ways we do this is by encouraging our patients to take an active role in their therapy, and instructing them in ways to decrease pain and improve daily functions outside of the clinic.

Our Clubs provide a wealth of programs and activities to prepare young people for real-world success. We believe that by focusing on health and fitness, academic success, and good character and leadership, the children we serve will be better prepared to graduate from high school, go on to college, and thrive as adults.

Homeless families in Ada, Canyon, and Twin Falls counties are referred by local, emergency homeless shelters. Upon acceptance into the program, families are immediately moved into a housing unit (typically an apartment with a lease in their name) and provided basic household furnishings. If not already working, adults are given up to sixty days to find employment and are provided a wealth of community resources. The ultimate goal for families is self sufficiency, and participants are expected to pay their own rent within six months. Approximately 86% of homeless families served are able to pay their own rent within six months.

Local businesses and congregations of faith agree to sponsor a participating family’s rent for up to six months. Leases are signed between the family and landlord, and typically range in market value between $500-$800 per month, depending on the size of the unit needed.

The CATCH program - Charitable Assistance To Community's Homeless in Boise and Caldwell- primarily assists homeless families with children younger than 18. The program is also available to young adults, ages 18 to 22, who are aging out of foster care.
**How CATCH program works? - The case manager will work with four shelters (Hope's Door, Lighthouse Rescue Mission, Salvation Army and Valley Crisis), as well as with WICAP, to receive referrals for families that meet the program qualifications. Once a family is determined to be eligible, that family will sign a lease directly with a landlord and CATCH of Canyon County will pay the rent, with funds donated by businesses, faith-based organizations, private individuals and stimulus dollars.

The Senior Center, adjoining the Nampa Recreation Center’s east side, is a wonderful site for seniors to enjoy an assortment of fun activities. Dances, fitness classes, and educational workshops are all available! Be sure to attend one of our game nights where pinochle or bridge/cribbage is played weekly.

Daily lunch is served Monday through Friday at 12:00 noon. The public is welcome! You do not need to be a senior to enjoy our lunches and/or other activities. Fees: 60+ $5 suggested donation; under 60yrs $6 charge. Transportation to and from the Senior Center is available within its service area. Contact the Senior Center for details.

Our Gift and Thrift Shop are open in the Senior Center from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm & 12:30 pm - 2 pm, Monday through Friday.

Free Heart Disease Screening

At this screening, you will learn how to better manage your health and gain valuable information on heart disease and stroke. The screening includes the full cardiac risk profile: Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides and Glucose.

THIS IS A FASTING BLOOD TEST. You will need to fast for at least 8-10 hours prior to the blood screening (you can drink water and black coffee – no sugar or creamer). A light breakfast will be offered after the screening.

State St.: Gas vouchers as one-time assistance. Must have valid driver’s license, insurance, current registration on vehicle.  Vouchers for job searching, job attendance, medical and court related appointments.  Bring paper proof for why voucher is needed. Tuesday-Friday 9-3 monthly until funding runs out. Day Resource Center

The Day Resource Center provides breakfast, lunch and access to showers and laundry facilities for homeless and at-risk of homeless families and individuals. This program is open to the public everyday  except Wednesday and Sunday.

Residential Programs

Emergency Housing

The Salvation Army Community Family Shelter provides rooms for families and single women who need a temporary place to stay to help them overcome homelessness by giving them time to save money and find housing. This program provides housing for up to 90 days.

Transitional Housing

The Salvation Army Community Family Shelter also provides rooms for families and single women who need longer than 90 days to get back on their feet. This program is designed for people who are pursuing education, paying off significant debts, or who have other reasons that make it impossible for them to become self-sufficient in 90 days or less. This program requires a program fee that is put into a savings account for the client. Upon successful completion of the program, the money that the client saved will be paid towards housing deposits or rent.

Case Management

Both the emergency and transitional housing programs provide weekly case management for every family and single woman. During case management, weekly goals are set by identifying and utilizing client's strengths to overcome homelessness such as saving money, finding employment, and finding housing. Case management is also used as a means to keep families and women accountable in the program.

Social Skills Groups

Both emergency and transitional housing programs provide a weekly social skills group which is facilitated by Families, Etc.

Other Programs

The Salvation Army Family Shelter provides other services when available, such as gas vouchers, motel vouchers, diapers and referrals. These programs may have eligibility requirements and may not be available all times of the year. It is best to call prior to coming to see if these services are available.

One-on-one School Based Mentoring For Youth in Grades 1-8 In The Nampa, Caldwell, Homedale, Parma and Vallivue School Districts. Adult Volunteers (18 Yrs. and Older) Are Screened and Trained To Help Students, Referred by Their Schools, In Need of a Friend, and Role Model. Mentors Meet With Their Assigned Student Once a Week During the School Day on School Grounds. Supervision and Support Provided By Program Director.
